In August 2023 with unanimous Canaveral Port Authority board approval, Ivey’s Construction and subcontractor Finfrock were awarded the $67.5-million Northside Parking Garages Design-Build contract. The expansion of northside parking garages 5, 6, and 10 will support Port Canaveral’s increased parking demand from cruise passengers. The project includes all permits, payment of fees, labor, materials, supplies, equipment, engineering and architectural services, drawings, and incidentals necessary to design, permit, and construct two parking garages and associated roadway improvements at Port Canaveral. The project, which will add more than 2,800 new parking spaces, is scheduled for completion by November 2024.
