Ivey’s Construction was contracted by Space Florida to build a new Lightning Protection System for Launch Complex 46 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The project consists of concrete auger cast piles, concrete pile caps, and two 183-foot-tall self-supporting structural towers with custom built fiberglass lightning masts and catenary system. The project was successfully completed in March 2019.
