Ivey’s Construction completed the new KSC Visitor Complex Parking Plaza Entrance project on schedule and within budget by utilizing value engineering. The new Parking Plaza entrance provides guests with the thrill of driving under the Space Shuttle Crawler and into the Space journey that awaits them inside the Visitor Complex. The Parking Plaza canopy is a replica of the Space Shuttle crawler that will be used to transport NASA’s new rockets which are set to return to the moon.
Ivey’s was also recently awarded a 2019 ABC Excellence in Construction Eagle Award for the Parking Plaza Entrance project.
