As Design-Build Manager, Ivey’s was contracted by Delaware North and the KSC Visitor Complex to create an iconic new focal point in the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Ticket Plaza. The new feature replaced the entry fountain that once stood in its spot. The visually compelling and dynamic new high-tech structure brings in sophisticated 3-D audio/visual elements to create a memorable welcoming experience for visitors.

The project scope included the installation of a massive, curved LED video monitor wall outfitted with state-of-the-art A/V components. The new exhibit presents park guests with a short 6 minute looping video that features President Kennedy as the storyteller who chronicles the past, present, and future of space through the use of visual images, video elements, and graphics. The scope of this design-build project included demolition, site preparation, A/V installation of video components, landscaping, as well as specialized themed lighting to enhance the exhibit and guest experience.
