Ivey’s team members Scott Kraft, Jennifer Sharpe, and Liana Foster were pleased to participate in Brevard Public Schools’ Career & Technical Education (CTE) Expo ’24 held on February 10 at the Space Coast Convention Center in Cocoa.

At the event, the Ivey’s team spoke with hundreds of students and their families about the many diverse jobs and educational opportunities that the construction industry offers, including a wide variety of disciplines/trades, administrative and support positions, and Green Building careers, as well as vocational training available to achieve these pursuits.

A robust and comprehensive program, CTE provides learning opportunities and equips students with essential skills, hands-on experience, and critical thinking abilities. The program also positions students to earn college credits, industry-based certifications, and real-world knowledge to guide them to these high-skill, high-wage, and high-demand careers.

Ivey’s Construction looks forward to future opportunities to support Brevard Public Schools’ Career & Technical Education, whose programs have such a positive impact on our community and the lives of Brevard County students.
