May 2011: Ivey’s Construction, Inc. was recently chosen for Brevard County’s Continuing Construction Manager (At Risk) Services Contract.
December 2010: Rocky Johnson, Vice President, and Sean Daniels, Project Manager both attained LEED AP BD+C status. Steve Sergis, Vice President attained LEED Green Associate status. Congratulations to Rocky, Sean, and Steve for passing the difficult exams.
November 2010: Mike Koons was hired as a full time Estimator. We are excited that Mike has joined the Ivey’s Team and look forward to many successful years.
January 2010: The Mobile Launcher Tower is “Topped Out”. The last of ten tiers was set on 1/25/10. The buildup weighted almost 200,000 lbs. and has a top of steel elevation of 390 Feet. Ivey’s is part of the Hensel Phelps Team to build a new mobile launcher for the planned Ares rocket.
August 2008: Founded in 1973 by Wade A. Ivey, Ivey’s Construction, Inc. was purchased by Wade’s son, Kevin W. Ivey. Kevin has literally grown up in the family business and has over thirty years of experience. The successful transition to the second generation has put Ivey’s in the position to continue the successful legacy created by Wade A. Ivey well into the future.
April 2007: Rocky J. Johnson and Steven P. Sergis are both appointed Vice President.
