Project Description:
This competitive bid current project consists of the removal of 389 hollow metal window frames and glazing and installation of new 12 gauge hollow metal window frames and impact rated glazing system at the Brevard County Detention Center Dormitory Pods.
Funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), Department of Energy (DOE) and the Energy Efficient and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) programs, this project will replace the existing corroded and non weather tight windows with new energy efficient windows throughout the existing facility.
The facility will remain active during this project. Ivey’s will coordinate daily with Brevard County Detention Center Officers for access to required areas and inmate cells for window removal and replacement.
