Phase One included the construction of a 3400 SF Laundry and Strip Search Facility and (4) four 5000 SF Sprung Structure inmate housing buildings. Site work included underground utilities, detention grade fencing, grading, paving, and sod. Architectural features included split face block exteriors with drywall interior partitions and acoustical ceilings. Other architectural features included finished tile flooring, painting and various trim elements. All facilities were fully sprinkled for fire protection; new potable water service was installed from the main road the added building. Plumbing work also included numerous gang bathrooms with shower stalls. Electrical work consisted of main power distribution and communications data installation into all facilities. Video camera and security system installation was also included. The HVAC system included installation of two new chillers with associated air handling units for cooling and heating.
