Ivey’s Scope of Work:
This project consisted of the fabrication and erection of 3000 Tons of structural and miscellaneous steel for various structures at LC-41, as well as the installation of government furnished equipment, including an overhead crane and four Autocouplers on the launch pad. The VIF building footprint is approximately 6,400 square feet. The VIF is approximately 300 feet tall, and houses a sixty-ton overhead crane as well as vertically and horizontally moveable platforms. The Pad Equipment and AutoCoupler Buildings house sensitive equipment and mission-critical components at the launch site. The Entry Control Building presents state-of-the art architecture combined with cutting edge security features.
